TLDR:Vois is no longer shipping new builds for Intel Macs. We are focusing engineering on Apple Silicon (M1 and newer) and Windows, where Vois runs fastest. If Vois is already installed on your Intel Mac, your current version keeps working with no changes. New features and updates target Apple Silicon and Windows going forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does macOS Intel support end?

New Vois releases stop including Intel Mac builds starting with the next version. The last release that shipped an Intel build remains the final Intel version, and it stays available to people who are already running it.

Does my Intel version stop working?

No. If Vois is already installed on your Intel Mac, it keeps working exactly as it does today. The only difference is that you will not receive new updates. Your license, projects, and voices are unaffected.

Why is Vois focusing on Apple Silicon?

Apple Silicon unlocks GPU acceleration and several times faster local generation than Intel hardware. Supporting one modern Mac architecture instead of two lets us ship features faster and test them more thoroughly, which is better for everyone.

What can Intel Mac users do?

You can keep using your installed version for as long as it serves you, or move to an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer) or a Windows PC to get the latest features and the fastest local generation. Your license works on every supported platform.

Can I move my projects to a new computer?

Yes. Your projects, scripts, cloned voices, and exported audio are files on your machine, never locked in the cloud. Copy them to your new Apple Silicon Mac or Windows PC, install Vois, activate your license, and pick up where you left off.
