Does your computer support Omni?
Omni is the most advanced voice engine in Vois Studio, and it runs entirely on your machine. Works best with a compatible graphics card; 16 GB of memory recommended. Every other engine runs well on any supported computer, with or without one. Omni is included with Pro, and you can try it on the Free plan. Check the supported hardware below before choosing Pro.
The short version
Have a graphics card, or a recent integrated one?
Omni uses it automatically. There is nothing to set up.
No graphics card, or an older machine?
Omni will be much slower on the processor alone. Sonic, Fast, Expressive and Multilingual run well without a graphics card. Try Omni on the Free plan to hear how it runs on your machine.
Not sure?
Vois Studio checks your hardware and free memory for you. You never pick a setting. If Omni does not fit, it tells you clearly what to change.

Not recommended for Omni
- Computers with no graphics card at all
- Very old graphics hardware, or out-of-date drivers
- Virtual machines without graphics passthrough
No compatible graphics card? The core studio still works.
Sonic, Fast, Expressive, and Multilingual run well on the processor alone, with no graphics card required. Sonic is on every plan, Free included, and Subscriber includes all four.
